How does climate change contribute to the recent wildfires in Canada? Please read the following BBC report and it may give you an answer. in sum, there are 3 major points in this article: -

Canada is facing a serious wildfire season with lots of fires, people being evacuated, and bad air quality. Scientists say that climate change is making these wildfires worse.

The hot weather, long periods without rain, and changes in how forests are managed are all making the risk of wildfires higher. It's difficult to say for certain that a specific fire is caused by climate change, but there is scientific evidence showing that climate change is making wildfires more severe.

Most of the wildfires in Canada are started by lightning strikes or accidents caused by people, not by intentional acts of arson. It's important to understand all the different things that contribute to wildfires and improve how we manage them in order to be ready for future fires.

Did climate change cause Canada's wildfires? Isabella Kaminski digs into the science on the role climate change and other factors play in wildfires.
