You'll notice we often use soft and ambient lighting this season. This is a thoughtful, intentional medium we set up that can invite wonder, curiousity, possibility and calm. Light is a language for thinking. It can amplify children's thinking and ideas. It can also give the child a new way to encounter the environment. Along with light, projected landscapes can become spaces to test theories and curiosities. We also love how ambient lighting compliments what we are experiencing in nature; this season of slowing down.
