🚒🔥 Fire Safety with Sturgeon County Emergency Services! 🔥🚒

A big thank you to Sturgeon County Emergency Services for visiting Namao School to deliver their annual fire safety presentations to our Kindergarten to Grade 3 students today! 🧑‍🚒❤️

Our youngest Royals had the opportunity to learn important fire safety tips, how to stay safe in an emergency, and the importance of being prepared. These valuable lessons help our students build the knowledge and confidence they need to make safe choices at home and at school!

We are so grateful to our local emergency responders for taking the time to educate our students and help keep our community safe. Thank you for all that you do! 👏🚒

🎣🔨 Building Skills, One Rod Holder at a Time! 🔨🎣

🐠Our Junior High Fishing Club members have been busy in the construction lab, building their very own fishing rod holders! A big shout out to Mr. Jamieson for lending a helping hand and sharing his skills with our aspiring anglers. 👏

Now that's what we call a reel-y great project! 😉🎣

🧪🔬 Science in Action! 🔬🧪

Our Grade 8 students have been busy experimenting with solutes, solvents, and solutions in science! 🧑‍🔬

🧪🔬Students investigated how factors like particle size, temperature, and stirring affect the rate at which substances dissolve. They also got hands-on with measuring the density of different liquids and solids, putting their scientific observation and measurement skills to the test!🔬🧪

📚💙 Reading Buddies! 💙📚

Our Grade 9 and Grade 5 students teamed up during Advisory today for some quality reading time together! Students enjoyed sharing books, reading with a buddy, and making connections across grade levels. 📖✨

We love seeing our older students step into leadership roles while helping foster a love of reading in our younger students! 👑📚
