🌼Namao Flower and Bench Show🌼

Join the Namao Agricultural Society for their annual Flower & Bench Show, where neighbours showcase their talents and compete for prizes! Entries include flowers, preserves, baking, and various hobby items.

📅August 15 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
📍Namao Community Hall

Entry fee: $1 per item
Free admission for viewing and afternoon tea

Schedule:
➡Registration 9 – 11:30 a.m.
➡Judging 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
➡Tea and viewing start at 2 p.m.
➡Door prizes from 2 – 4 p.m.

The Namao Agricultural Society invites our community to participate in Grow a Row, Share a Row on September 19, 2026!

Have a vegetable garden? Consider setting aside a row—or even a portion of your harvest—to help support local families in need. Community members are encouraged to donate fresh vegetables and garden produce, which will be collected and distributed to local food banks.

📖After writing their final exam, our Grade 9 students thought they were heading home, but instead they were surprised with one last story time with Mrs. Toplonitsky in Kindergarten!📖

📚For many of these students, Mrs. Toplonitsky was their kindergarten teacher, making this a special opportunity to return to where their Namao School journey began. Before starting their summer, they listened to one final story before turning the page to their next chapter.📚

By delaying smartphone use, families are creating more opportunities for face-to-face connection, outdoor play, healthy sleep habits, and meaningful learning experiences. Together, we're supporting childhoods filled with curiosity, creativity, and real-world relationships.

Yesterday, we celebrated National Indigenous Peoples' Day at Namao School! We'd like to give a big thank-you to all of our volunteers (parents and students!) who made the event run so smoothly! Huge shout out to Ms. Larouche who, once again, outdid herself with planning and organizing the day!

We even got to provide lunch inspired by the land to each of our students - thank you to St.Albert for delivering the most delicious bison burgers we've ever had!

A huge THANK YOU to our Junior High Healthy Hunger volunteers for their hard work and dedication throughout the school year! 🎉

From organizing orders and sorting meals to helping distribute lunches each week, these students played an important role in making our Healthy Hunger program a success. Their reliability, leadership, and willingness to serve our school community did not go unnoticed.

We are so proud of the responsibility and teamwork they demonstrated all year long. Thank you for making a difference at Namao School and helping support our students and families!
