StrawBubs

StrawBubs StrawBubs offers thrilling multi-sensory musical classes for babies, toddlers, and their caregivers Hi, My name's Sarah and I'm the founder of StrawBubs.

My passion is nested in creating magical and memorable moments with our little ones. I'm a Mum of two beautiful little girls and one fur baby. I trained at Tiffany Theatre College in England for Musical Theatre. Following my training, I had a 6-year career singing and dancing professionally on cruise ships around the world. After my world travels, I started a new chapter and attended university to train to become a Speech and Language Therapist and obtained a first-class honours degree from City University of London. Once graduated and working for a short while in the NHS, I became a mum and wanted to find the right work life balance. I then ran baby and toddler signing classes with the franchise ‘Little Signers Club’ for a year in England. As a family we then decided to make the move over to Ontario, Canada where my husband is originally from. Since moving to Strathroy and welcoming our second little girl, I identified a gap in the community and decided to create and launch my own baby and toddler music classes, so StrawBubs was born! My background means not only can I provide wonderfully entertaining classes for your littles ones, but I'm also weaving in my unique expertise in the area of speech, language, and communication. I'm incredibly passionate about developing and promoting early communication skills and building that special bond between caregiver and child. You will come away from classes not only throughly entertained and enlightened but also well informed.

💕✨ MEET AMBER! ✨💕

I’m SO excited to introduce another member of the StrawBubs team .… Amber! 🎭✨

Amber has joined me on Monday evenings for my StrawBubs Performers Club program , assisting with both my JK/SK Kinder group and Grade 1 & 2 group! I’m so excited to have her bringing her passion for drama, storytelling and creativity to Performers Club this term!

Amber has been passionate about drama and storytelling for as long as she can remember. She holds a BA (Hons) in Drama in Education and Community from the University of Windsor, where she gained experience planning and delivering drama programming in elementary schools, as well as working behind the scenes on props and sets for university productions.

During her undergraduate degree, Amber also worked as a research assistant exploring the effects of drama and play on child development and overall health. After graduating, she went on to organize Our Stage, a performing arts club for adults with special needs, before completing her Master’s in Library and Information Science at Western University, with a particular focus on children’s literature and program planning.

For the past 13 years, Amber has worked as an elementary school librarian, where she has loved combining her creativity with her passion for children through drama games, crafts, storytelling and hands-on programming designed to foster a love of reading and learning.

And when she’s not busy inspiring young minds, Amber is kept very busy at home by her two lovable and slightly crazy Australian Shepherds and her wonderfully wild 4-year-old! 🐾💕

I’m SO excited to have Amber on board this term and can’t wait for our Performers Club kiddos to get to know her, create, play, explore and perform alongside her! 🎭✨

Welcome to the StrawBubs team, Amber! 🫧💕
