-The science and tools used to measure trees from simple tools to complex
-Exploring Alberta’s energy resources and what factors determine the energy mix we have.
-Protect important parts of the ecosystem and provide habitat: Building bat houses.

A HUGE thank you to SHS for hosting and providing these meaningful experiences for our students!🤍🌟

Yesterday, the 4As headed outside for Science to collect data and look for signs of fall! 🍂🔎

We had a fun afternoon exploring the parks in our neighbourhood as we used our senses to look, listen, and feel for the changing seasons. We spotted signs of fall all around us and enjoyed learning about the changes happening in nature.

We even snuck in some Physical Education along the way—walking, running, rolling, and climbing! 🏃‍♀️🍁

By the time we made it back to school, everyone was a little dusty, grassy, sweaty, thirsty, and tired… but also happy and full of stories from our afternoon of outdoor learning! ❤️
