This year, Crowther honoured Truth and Reconciliation Day by participating in an Orange Shirt Tree Project, spearheaded by our Indigenous Liaison Miss Kaiya. Students and staff were invited to think and reflect about Orange Shirt Day, and share their thoughts on an orange paper T-shirt. Grade 9 leadership students tied these messages to our school trees out front. Students, staff, and community members are encouraged to walk through the trees and read these powerful and meaningful reflections.
