Sweet Song Community Sweet Song Studio is a Maestro Kindermusik program offering the very best early years music and movement classes for children newborn-7 years on PEI.

Born and raised on beautiful Prince Edward Island, Miss Emily started formal voice lessons at 12 and began her musical career as a child performer in the musical “Anne of Green Gables” at the Confederation Centre of the Arts. As a teenager, she played the supporting role of “Rhoda Stuart” on the TV show, “Emily of New Moon”. Miss Emily studied Theater at the Brock University, and earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Prince Edward Island. During this time she also taught private voice lessons to aspiring young singers and dance to children aged 6-16 with the Spotlight Performing Arts Academy in Nova Scotia and P.E.I., Canada. Right after graduating, Miss Emily married an adventurous Glaswegian lad and moved to bonnie Scotland for 5 edifying and culturally enriching years. Now a mum herself to a precious three year old girl and a handsome baby boy, Miss Emily's favourite moments are spent singing lullabies at bedtime, sharing silly songs and enjoying spontaneous dance parties with her sweet children through the day. She is thrilled to offer Kindermusik classes and can’t wait for you to experience the pleasure it will bring to you and your child!

"Come sing, move and play with us!

We're looking for families with children aged 2-8 years to participate in a free, play-based literacy and numeracy pilot program at the beautiful, new Charlottetown Library Learning Centre. This one-hour, 10 session play-based program will take place on Sunday afternoons at 1:30pm from October 16 until December 18, 2022. We are registering now, and spaces are limited.
