We had so much fun at Stoughton Daze, and we hope you did too! ☀️🍻

This year, the Stoughton Fire Department passed the beer garden torch on to us. With the sun shining and a busy crowd all weekend, it was a great time!

We couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of the Stoughton Fire Department. They helped set up our gates, lent us coolers and tables, and basically did all the heavy lifting 🫣 We are so grateful for everything they did to help make the weekend run smoothly!

We were also fortunate to receive a generous $500 donation from I-Zan Tire in Weyburn toward our liquor costs. Their support helped keep our expenses down, meaning even more money will go directly toward our playground expansion at the centre. Of course, none of that beer would have stayed cold if the Crossroads Inn hadn’t donated their trailer and freezer! Thank you both for investing in our community’s children!

To everyone from our centre who volunteered their time, donated supplies, or helped in any way—thank you! Your support made this event possible.

We’re so close to reaching our fundraising goal to begin developing our backyard, and we can’t wait to share what’s next. Thank you for your continued support! ❤️

We are incredibly grateful to Kingston Midstream for their generous $15,000 donation towards our backyard project!

This money will go towards installing rubber safety surfacing beneath our play structure and relocating the existing rocks to create a construction zone in another area of our yard.

The new rubber surfacing will provide a safer fall zone for the children in our care while also creating a versatile space where they can run, jump, and play. This has been a goal of ours for many years, and with the support of Kingston Midstream, we are one step closer to creating a safe, engaging, and enriching outdoor learning environment for our children!

You can also pick up tickets tonight at the EMO BBQ at the fairgrounds from 4:30–7:00 PM. Come by and check out the trucks and activities hosted by the Fire Department, Ambulance, and RM of Tecumseh and while you're there, stop by our food booth to grab some supper and your chance to win! Who knows—your ticket could be the one that puts some extra money back into your pocket!

Miss Marcy, one of our ECEs, recently set out to create a cozy corner in her classroom—a quiet, welcoming space where children could read, gather with friends, and relax.

She reached out on Facebook in search of child-sized furniture, and thanks to the kindness of a friend, her vision became a reality!

A set of child-sized rocking chairs and a couch were lovingly restored and donated to our centre. 🥰 The children were immediately drawn to the new space, gathering together to read stories, chat, and enjoy each other’s company.

It turned out to be everything we hoped for and more! We are incredibly grateful for this generous donation and the warmth it has brought to our learning environment. 💕
