EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Whether you're a current/returning/prior student, interested in classes, a friend of the studio, or just driving by - we want you to stop in! Grab a snack, let your kids play on the inflatable obstacle course, and get to know us :D

SKILLS WORKSHOP: DEFENSIVE STRATEGIES

This workshop will focus on strategies to identify, avoid, and de-escalate violence. Topics covered will include Situational Awareness, Threat Identification, Verbal De-escalation, Boundary Setting, Distance Management, and more. Content will include both discussions and scenario practice.

This is an excellent precursor to October’s workshop – Defensive Maneuvers – where we will dive into more physical responses to violence when avoidance and de-escalation aren’t options.
