Krista Quenneville, Music for Young Children teacher in Stittsville/Kanata

Offering music lessons in Stittsville where we sing, move, laugh, play rhythm instruments, compose, and explore theory while learning to play the piano.

I have been teaching for over 20 years both in the public school system and as a private music instructor. I received a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Education degree. While participating in my son's Music for Young Children® classes taught by Frances Balodis, the founder of MYC, I observed the ease with which children achieve music literacy when their learning styles are effectively addressed. After my son's first year in the program, I was encouraged to take teacher training and am thrilled to begin my thirteenth year of offering this exciting Music for Young Children® program. Friendships built by students and parents during these group lessons can last a lifetime. It is a joy and a privilege to teach MYC!
