We serve the communities of Stephenville, Kippens, and surrounding area. Our mascot is Ellie the Eagle, and we have lots of school spirit!

We still have about 4 weeks left of summer, but we know that some of you are starting 'Back to School' shopping, so without further 'ado', here are the SES School Supply Lists for the upcoming year (be sure to confirm that you are looking at the right one before you shop - we have different lists for each grade, and for French Immersion and English).

NLSchools is hosting a School Bus Driver Job Fair at the bus depot, 300 O'Connell Drive, on July 28 & 29, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
If you know anyone who has been considering becoming a school bus driver, send them our way! We're here to answer questions, guide them through the process, and help them every step of the way.

The TD Summer Reading Club aims to support literacy and reading skills and is available across the province, all summer, for free. With 94 locations, NL Public Libraries' serves the majority of families in the province, and every branch offers the club, can sign kids and families up, and offers fun youth programming to support reading over the summer!

All students will be going swimming on Tuesday, June 23. All permission slips and $5 fee were due today!
Breakfast Program
Our Breakfast Program is finished for this school year. Please ensure that your studnets have enought food/snacks to get through the day!!
Library Books / School Textbooks
A reminder that all library and school textbooks were due today.
House Team Color Day
Students are asked to wear their house team color on Wednesday, June 24, and earn points for their house team.
A Message from Mrs. House (MUSIC)
Please note that Grade 4 recorders will be collected and stored at SES over the summer, as they will continue to be used throughout Grade 5 Music. This helps us to make sure that everyone is prepared for September! If you child's recorder has not been brought in to Mrs. House yet, please make sure it is dropped off for safekeeping before we leave for the summer.
Also, a reminder that the Yellow Recorder Kit 1 book is still used in Grade 5. Please make sure that it is not discarded over the summer, or if it has already been lost, a replacement can be purchased at the following link:

Our year end assembly will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, June 24. Parents and grandparents are welcome to attend.
