We are so very proud of all of our students in private lessons & group toddler music classes for a successful first term of music making, and a special congratulations goes out to those who performed in their very first official recital!!!

Our piano, voice, and guitar students all did a wonderful job sharing what they have been working on so far this year. It was a beautiful evening of music, family, and friends: a community affair at its very best.

Through our recital, we made a substantial food and monetary contribution to the food bank instead of collecting admission fees, which was possible due to the generosity of the people of St. Augustine's Anglican Church, who gave us FREE use of the venue, including use of the sound system and the help of a volunteer who made sure everything ran smoothly.

Thank you so much to the church and Reverend Nicole for helping to support our students, thanks to Marsha and Claire Alexander for taking charge of food bank collections + program distributions, to the Newfoundland and Labrador Registered Music Teachers' Association (NLRMTA) for organizing the Food Bank Express food drive, and especially to all the parents, caregivers, friends and family members for your continued support in your children's musical and personal growth.

Happy new year and best wishes from our family - Emma, Louis, Lorelei, and our dog Harley - to our community here in the Stephenville Crossing area and beyond :) We will see you soon for lessons in 2024!!!

We're all ready for our Christmas recital coming up this week, with our final lessons before Christmas today! :) It is so wonderful seeing all of students' hard work come together for their performance.

To all our families, students, friends, and supporters of our music studio: We have signed our studio up with a province-wide food drive held by private music teachers each year at Christmas, the NLRMTA "Food Bank Express," and we are collecting non-perishable food items AND/OR monetary donations at our recital in place of an admission fee.

Financial donations to the Community Food Sharing Association can be made starting now! Follow the link to donate, and be sure to select Emma House Music Studio from the drop-down list of participating studios! Let's fill up our food banks in time for Christmas!! https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/93702?v2=true&fbclid=IwAR3VXiO3hUg5qk2Gr-Nzs3l9lhMRilgaUxVyfKyryqXz2YmwIFjCBXBJJiE
