Did you know that harvesting cloudberries (also known as salmon berries or bakeapples throughout the different regions in which they grow) before they're ripe may damage the stock and decrease the stocks productivity. It takes 7 years for the berry to mature to the bubbly treat we all enjoy.

We recently traveled to Port Saunders with Newfoundland Indigenous Peoples Alliance.

We guided participants on a Nature Walk through the lush and beautiful surroundings, sharing our knowledge on identifying local plants and demonstrating sustainable harvesting practices.

This experience provided an opportunity for individuals to deepen their connection with nature and nourish their bond with Mother Earth. Plus we got to meet some really amazing people! 💜 🌱
