Convocation is TODAY (Thursday, June 4) at the Pictou County Wellness Centre! Congratulations to all the Pictou Campus grads walking across the stage today!

Ceremony begins at 10am. Grads, please arrive by 9am to get your gown and in line. Gowns are available to be picked up in the Bell Arena started at 8am. Please, only graduates in the Bell Arena before the ceremony. All guests will be directed to the Sobey Arena to be seated upon arrival.

Over the next 2 weeks, we’ll celebrate over 4,000 grads across 14 campuses! You’ve all put in the work – now it’s time to cheer you on as you enter this next chapter. Congratulations, Class of 2026! 👏💙

Apply now until May 28 for Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency’s Youth Skilled Trades Camps.

These free, hands-on camps give students in Grades 7 to 9 a chance to safely explore new interests, build confidence, and gain real-world skills in one exciting week.

Participants can try trades such as carpentry, electrical, welding, cooking, automotive service technician, plumbing, refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic, heavy duty equipment operation, and more (offerings vary by location).

Camps are being offered at:
➡️ Lunenburg Campus, July 6 to 10
➡️ Cumberland Campus, July 13 to 17
➡️ Akerley Campus, July 27 to 31
➡️ Sydney Waterfront Campus, August 10 to 14
➡️ Pictou Campus, August 17 to 21

The Camps are funded by the Nova Scotia Government and delivered in partnership with NSCC and Skills Canada-Nova Scotia.

The Pictou Campus Courtyard Committee will be having a plant sale on Saturday, May 23 from 9am-12pm in the Student Housing Parking lot (located at 41 Acadia Ave, Stellarton).

They will have several varieties of tomatoes, peppers, squash and other starters! All priced to go and with all funds going back into the maintenance of our Courtyards.

The Courtyard Committee is a mixture of faculty, staff and students and maintains the two courtyards at Pictou Campus. They grow vegetables and maintain fruit trees as part of their food security efforts, as well as growing plants and flowers to make these areas a place for students and staff to enjoy.
