I have the best job!

I am so incredibly proud of all my students. Always. They work so hard.

But last night they made me look like a great teacher. 😊 And I hope I am. But more than that??? They are amazing students.

All 51 students worked so hard to get ready for their recitals. They picked their song. They practiced for hours. And last night we had two amazing recitals. Concerts really. Bc the music was incredible. I am so thankful. And blessed. To be able to be a part of these kids’ musical education. What a wonderful night.

Have a wonderful summer families. And I cannot wait for next year.

The 2025 Sharon’s Piano Studio ornaments are in progress.

Every year (since 2013) i have made my students ornaments. So far I have not duplicated any of my ornaments. (Parents! Please do not share this with your students as the ornaments get unveiled in their gift bags.)

This year I have 54 ornaments to make. So with my recitals that means I am making treats for all 54 students.
Which translates into over 300 cookies/squares/treats AND 200 hot eats/bites and chips etc.

What can I say?? I love my students and am so thankful do this job (gift) I get to do every day!

100% BLESSED!!

So beyond thankful for the amazing performances that my students laid out tonight. I wish I could tell each one how proud I am of them. THEY DID AN AWESOME JOB! Mistakes happen. Sometimes memory fails. Sometimes you get a clean performance. Sometimes you use the little tips and trick to pull out of a stumble.

But students, more than anything I am so proud of you. And I am so thankful for each one of the performances that happened tonight. I am truly blessed to have a studio filled with such dedicated and amazing performers!

(and yes that was a hashtag not a sharp #) 😍
