Artista Academy is thrilled to announce that Audition Prep is open for “Aladdin” (Gr. 2/3/4/5/6/7/8)! Please see the information below and link to register for FREE Audition Prep!

Artista’s “Aladdin” Audition Prep: Gr. 2/3/4/5/6/7/8
When: Saturday, September 6th
Time: SENIOR audition prep (Grades 5/6/7/8) - 9:30am - 12pm
JUNIOR audition prep (Grades 2/3/4) 12:30pm - 2pm
Where: Steinbach Arts Council (304 2nd St, Steinbach) in Studio A (upstairs on the right, near the office)
What to bring: Water bottle and a positive attitude
What to wear: Comfortable, fitted, stretchy clothes (no large hoodies please), dance shoes if you have
Arrival: When you arrive, please sign in at the desk in the hallway (not the office) and get your name tag. Studio door will open for student entry 10 minutes beforehand.
Parents: There is a mandatory 10 minute parent meeting immediately following audition prep.
SENIOR - 12-12:10pm
JUNIOR - 2-2:10pm
Please ensure you have a parent or guardian attend to obtain some very important information.

Audition Prep: During this FREE session, students will be given an audition package to take home. We will work through this package together and prepare each section (movement/choreo, monologue, and singing). Students will take these packages home. Audition tutorials/advice materials (videos and documents) will be sent via email on Saturday, September 6th in the evening following audition prep. Please use these to rehearse at home to make sure your child feels as confident and prepared as possible. We want this to be a positive experience for everyone!

What happens AFTER Audition Prep?
Audition sign up link: A link will be sent to families via email in the evening on Saturday, September 6th to go to and sign up for their audition slot for Saturday, September 13th. Please be sure to sign up for the correct audition time slot (JUNIOR or SENIOR).

We know you’ll want to get some great pix of our Lion King Jr. stars, so make sure to tag us in your pictures as you post them! 🦁👑 Note: during the show itself, audio and video recording is not permitted.
