A little bit about us! 🎶
Amanda Bryce
Amanda first fell in love with musical theatre watching the classics with Judy Garland, Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds. Her passion to perform onstage can be seen everytime she steps out onto the stage. When not on the stage, Amanda loves helping backstage and teaching performance/dance to those who share the same passion of performing.
She is a graduate of St. Clair College Musical Theatre Performance Program and has performed in shows such as Matilda the musical (Mrs. Wormwood), The Little Mermaid (Ariel), The Music Man (Marion Paroo), Grease (Rizzo), School of Rock (Rosalie Mullins), The Dreamland (Penny), Joseph and The Amazing Technicoloured Dreamcoat (Simeon), Sweet Charity(ensemble), The King and I (ensemble), to name a few.
Aside from performing onstage, Amanda worked backstage with Theare Collingwood for 3 seasons, Gaslight Tours, and directed the musical Little Shop of Horrors with the Wasaga Community Theatre. She has been an avid member of Clearview Community Theatre since 2011, working alongside children and teenagers while teaching them choreography for shows such as The Little Mermaid, Matilda, Godspell, Anne of Green Gables, Bye Bye Birdie, and Pirates of Penzance.
You can find Amanda working alongside Selina Ree as co-director of the new SingClub group in Stayner. A vocal performance training program for young performers who strive to learn while being supported in a fun and safe space.
