Coaching announcement for Elite Girls Hockey Camp!
Britni Smith Assistant Coach Clarkson University and Whitney Colbert - Assistant Coach Union College will be joining the camp for July 2018!
Britni Smith from Clarkson, this will be Britni's second year at the camp! This past season Smith helped Clarkson University to their second consecutive NCAA division 1 National Championship. Smith has been with Clarkson since the 2014-2015 season, she also served as an assistant coach for Canada's National Women's U-18 program in 2015. Smith graduated from Saint Lawrence University where she was a all-star defenseman and the finalist for the 2010 Patty Kazmaier. She continued her hockey career with the Toronto Furies in the Canadian Women's professional League and was the assistant coach for University of Toronto up until she took a job with Clarkson.
Whitney Colbert from Union College will also be joining our coaching staff as well! She is entering her third season as an assistant coach for Union College a NCAA division 1 team in New York. She is also involved with USA hockey, working at the U-18 and U-15 National Camps as an intern coach and on-ice skills person. Prior to Union College, Colbert helped lead Connecticut College to a program-best season. Colbert also interned with the Cornell University men's hockey coaching staff and with the USA Hockey women's department in Colorado Springs, CO. Whitney is definitely going to bring a lot to our camp and we couldn't be happier to have her!
