We are located on a spacious ten acre parcel of land in the Downie Ward of the Township of Perth South, halfway between Stratford and St. Our student population presently sits at approximately 285. All students are encouraged to participate in various aspects of our school in a positive manner. Sports and clubs await the participation of our students, and I encourage them to try out for teams and

participate in areas in which they are interested, as this only enhances their educational experience. We take pride in the wonderful relationships that have been established over a number of years with various community organizations, such as the Downie Optimist Club, and the Home and School Council. Their support is always greatly appreciated. At Downie Central, we are very proud of our school, of our students, and of the great people who work, volunteer, and are involved in any way in our school community.
