Just when we thought we'd seen it all... look who showed up for the last day of school!

The students loved it, the staff got a good laugh, and a few parents may have earned "Coolest Pick-Up of the Year" status. Thanks for keeping us smiling, Lakecrest families!

A huge thank you to our House Captains and Co-Captains for organizing today’s Jump Rope for Heart initiative! Students had a fantastic time staying active, showing their school spirit, and supporting an important cause. It was wonderful to see everyone having fun while raising awareness and funds for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Congratulations to our Grade 6 students on their D.A.R.E. Graduation yesterday! Over the past several weeks, students have learned valuable lessons about making safe and responsible choices, building confidence, and standing up to peer pressure. We are so proud of their hard work and commitment throughout the program.

A special thank you to our D.A.R.E. officer, Sergeant Julie Cunningham, for helping make this experience both meaningful and memorable. Well done, Grade 6!

Our Heads of School for the Day were BUSY from the moment they arrived. They treated some staff members to lunch, handed out delicious treats, led a whole-school assembly, visited classrooms, and somehow still found time to keep the school running smoothly!

To be honest, they were so organized, confident, and hardworking that I spent most of the day wondering if I should start updating my résumé.

A huge thank you to our student Heads of School, Charli and Ella, for their leadership, enthusiasm, and for making today so much fun for everyone at Lakecrest.

Between important meetings, organizing activities, and making sure everything is running smoothly, our student leaders have been busy getting out and about throughout the school.

So far, they're doing an amazing job... although we're still waiting to hear if they've approved extra recess!

Today, Lakecrest is in the capable hands of our two student Heads of School. We can't wait to see what exciting ideas, important decisions and fun activities are planned!
