Founded in 1890, the Newfoundland and Labrador Teachers' Association is a professional organization serving approximately 6,000 teachers in Newfoundland and Labrador. John's, Newfoundland and the association provides numerous services to teachers through various professional divisions. Anyone interested in joining should meet up with NLTA President Dale Lambe and members of the NLTA Gender and Sexual Diversity Special Interest Council starting at 11:20 a.m. on Sunday July 19th in PURPLE ZONE A3. The group will be visible with the NLTA flag.

Congratulations to former NLTA Executive Director Stefanie Tuff on receiving the CTF - FCE Special Recognition Award.

Throughout her more than 20 years with the Newfoundland and Labrador Teachers’ Association, Stefanie was a dedicated advocate for public education and the teaching profession. This award recognizes Stefanie’s exceptional leadership and impact in public education.
