VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: School Board Secretary

The NL Islamic School (NLIS) is seeking an organized and civic-minded volunteer to fill the position of Board Secretary. If you want to contribute to the growth and success of our school, we want to hear from you!

Role Overview: The Board Secretary is responsible for ensuring the smooth administration of board meetings, keeping accurate minutes, and managing official documentation.

Qualifications:
• Excellent administrative and documentation skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and objectivity.
• Track action items and follow up with board members on the tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Commitment to attending regular board meetings (1-2 per month).
