This one deserves a post. My brother held me to my own word, to sky dive when I turn 40. A week shy of 40, he reached out to my reluctant mom and sisters to give this to me as a bday gift lol. I was s**t scared, 45 second free fall, 10,000 feet up, the tiny plane felt enough for me 🤣 nothing like it. Incredible feeling. Here's to - doing what we say. Surrender. Being s**t scared and falling in anyways.

Two weeks ago, after 2.5 years of carrying way too much I DID IT! I woke up on the last day of this degree with more pressure than any one person should carry. I said "I'm going to wake up super early and own this last day, despite it all". I went for a super early run, and while I was running I felt a big emotion come over me, feeling the tears running down my face and an enormous feeling of TRIUMPH. These tears were not sadness, but said to me "You F'n did it Katie", you not only survived it, you rocked it. I often do not stop to acknowledge win's, but this was huge, throughout it, I did want to quite many times. This Costa Rica trip two weeks back was a celebration and THANK YOU to the family. For putting up with my big dreams, and sticking by me through it all. I am a testament guys that you CAN do it. Even as a mom, even if you don't have a pile of money, even if you have a full plate. One day at a time. THANK you to all the other mom's who helped me and my family members that also supported and encouraged. It takes a village. XO
