Holy Heart Performing Arts

We are beaming with pride for our MainStage company's excellent performance at the Provincial Drama Festival back at the LSPU Hall this weekend!

Our MainStage Company performed Radium Girls and received a standing ovation at their performance on Thursday! Our adjudicator gave an excellent "no notes" adjudication praising every aspect of the production and said it was "sensational."

There is no "best play" awarded at Provincials as the festival is seen as a celebration of theatre from across the province.

However, last night they were recognized with awards for:

We are excited to announce that our final MainStage show of the year is: Once Upon a Dream... A night of Heroes and Princesses for the whole family. Thanks to HHM Alumni Simon Alteen for workshopping Theatre Arts students this week! It's been great having him with us! Simon is an actor born and raised in Newfoundland. He is a recent graduate of The Lir National Academy of Dramatic Art in Ireland. Recent credits include: RICHARD RANK in Dolly's House (Capacity Theatre, St. John's), FRIAR LAWRENCE in Romeo and Juliet (The Mill Theatre, Dublin), DROSSELMEYER in The Nutcracker Ballet Tour (Kittiwake Dance Theatre), DUNCAN/MURDERER in Macbeth (The Mill Theatre, Dublin), MORGAN/REHEARSAL PERFORMER in Good S*x (Dead Centre, Dublin), ROTHKO in RED (The Lir Academy, Dublin).
