The MUN Faculty of Education mourns the passing of Dr. Dennis Mulcahy.

Dr. Mulcahy served the Faculty of Education as a Professor and faculty member for over 35 years. He was known locally and internationally as a passionate advocate for small and rural schools, who dedicated his career to advancing access to high-quality education.

Dr. Mulcahy will be remembered for his many invaluable contributions to the Faculty of Education at Memorial University, and to the field of education as a whole.

Ready to write in community, not isolation?

SheWrites Circle is a weekly space for graduate students who self-identify as women. It offers a friendly and supportive space where graduate students can discuss academic writing issues, share their writings, and receive and give constructive peer feedback. We gather Fridays and Saturdays at 5 p.m. (NL Time) to write, rest, and reconnect with our voices.

Session 1 - August 7: Reintroducing SheWrites Circle.
We’ll introduce ourselves, speak about the history of the programme, and share experiences.
Guest Speakers: Iroda Abdunazarova, Baharehsadat Razavian, and Faith Kinyua.

Corinna Fitzgerald appointed Vice-Provost, Student Affairs | Queen's Gazette Provost Matthew Evans is pleased to announce the appointment of Corinna Fitzgerald as Vice-Provost, Student Affairs, for a five-year term, starting July 1, 2026.
