Family Resource Centres are FREE of charge and are offered in child-friendly, safe, and stimulating environments. Each playroom has a variety of centres such as sandbox, crafts, housekeeping, books and blocks. It was a pleasure meeting with Matthew Cooper, the new Executive Director of Brighter Futures Coalition of St. John's and District. We had a great conversation about the important work being done to support children, youth, and families in Virginia Waters–Pleasantville and across our province. I look forward to continued collaboration and supporting initiatives that help build stronger, healthier futures for all.

Brighter Futures is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Cooper as our new Program Manager.

Matthew brings extensive experience in program leadership and fostering partnerships. His collaborative approach has contributed to the successful development and delivery of programs that support individuals and communities.

In his new role, Matthew will provide leadership and oversight to key initiatives that advance Brighter Futures’ mission and strengthen the impact of our services. His experience in stakeholder engagement, government relations, and community development, will be instrumental in furthering the organization’s commitment to creating positive and lasting outcomes.
