🌱 It’s Compost Awareness Week! 🌱
Did you know backyard composting helps cut down on climate-changing emissions while putting valuable carbon back into the soil? That means healthier trees, stronger plants and a greener community. 🌳
The City of St. John’s, in partnership with Memorial University Botanical Garden and MMSB, offers a free backyard composting course—available both in person and online! Learn the basics of composting, reduce household waste and be eligible to purchase a compost bin at a subsidized cost.
Upcoming in-person session (no registration required):
🌱MUN Botanical Garden, 306 Mount Scio Road: Saturday, May 30 from 1 to 2 p.m.
💻 Prefer to learn at your own pace? Online sessions are available anytime.
Start composting, reduce waste, and give back to the earth this week! ♻️ For more information visit: https://loom.ly/cpDwRv0
