This year, YPC put on many shows, including Finding Nemo, and Mean Girls! During their time with YPC, students had the opportunity to work closely with those in the field to help them learn more about the behind the scenes of musical productions, while also getting to star in those very productions!

✨ Student Summer Update✨

Fourth-year violinist and performance major Claire Boudreau has had an eventful summer across two continents!

Claire was in Orford for Orford Musique for a week in June, studying under Guillaume Sutre.

Next, she was in Vienna for three weeks in July for the Vienna Opera Festival (Wiener Festspiele) where she played Principal Second in Rigoletto and Assistant Concertmaster in The Marriage of Figaro and Carmen.

She then spent time in Paris to work on a photoshoot and interview with Marc Tunguz, and took a masterclass with Igor Volochine from the École Normale de Musique de Paris.

While back in Canada, she was filmed for an upcoming episode of Family Feud Canada!

Tune into Radio-Canada Nouvelle-Écosse/T.-N. on the morning of August 29th to hear an interview with Claire about her summer work as an Acadian musician and discussing her participation in Family Feud Canada.
