Recycling is more than just reducing waste—it supports the circular economy. ♻️

It’s about keeping materials in use for as long as possible and reducing waste along the way. Every time you recycle your plastic beverage containers, you help give those materials a second life—so they can be transformed into new bottles again and again.

Small actions make a big impact. Return your beverage containers to your local Green Depot and help keep the circular economy moving!

Each year, MMSB’s Used Tire Management Program helps keep half a million tires out of Newfoundland and Labrador landfills.

Rather than going to waste, those tires are transformed into TDA (tire-derived aggregate) to be used in construction projects. Even an old tire can get a second life. Learn more at https://mmsb.nl.ca/programs/used-tires/.
