We are excited to invite you to an additional academic session today, and it will be hosted by Earth Science department. Join us to get to know the different programs, majors, monirs, etc at the department of Earth Science.

With orientation starting tomorrow, we’d like to kick things off by saying a warm welcome to all new and returning students! Meet some of the friendly faces you’ll be seeing during orientation and during the school year. We hope we can make this transition as easy and seamless as possible. All the best everyone!

Just a note as orientation week approaches!
We will be having both an in-person event and a virtual event. Students MUST be registered to attend the in-person event, link to register is attached. Links for the virtual event can be found in the emails of first year students. Links for the virtual event will also be posted on Facebook and on our Instagram! We advise all students to start registering now:) We would also like to make note that ANY student that registers for the in-person event will automatically be entered into a prize draw. Prizes include things from these local companies: Modo yoga, Purity Factories, The Works, Majestea, The Keg, Saltwater designs, Pita pit, Supplement king, Platinum health + fitness, Smiles by Sam, MUN bookstore, Underground snax, and a custom sweater from one of our awesome volunteers!
In-person event: Group tours given by students in the faculty of science! Learn the most important areas around MUN as a science student and a new student in general, this is for both first and second years or any new student coming to MUN!
Virtual event: Throughout the week of August 30th-September 3rd join sessions from each science department here at mun and learn everything there is to know about majoring, minoring, honors, joint programs, research and MORE!
