Helping women create boundaries, heal relationships, and discover lasting peace through faith.

In reflecting on 2023, one profound realization stands out – I need Jesus. As we step into 2024, I am confident that, regardless of the challenges ahead, I can wholeheartedly rely on Him, both in moments of joy and in difficult times.

Happy Easter! I've always seen Easter as a success story. Success always uplifts and will be helpful to us, while fear always creates doubt, pain, and defeat. God is love. In love, there is peace and joy, and if we suffer, due to some fear, we need to examine ourselves and ask why we are afraid. We must go back to our first love, Jesus, who gave his life out of love, without calculation, without worry, and not for personal gain.

A cheerful heart is good medicine!

No matter what challenges or obstacles we may face, maintaining a positive outlook can make all the difference in the world. On the other hand, a negative, defeated spirit can drain us of our energy and motivation. That's why it's so important to choose joy, even in the midst of difficult circumstances.

Remember that God is with us always, and His love and grace can lift us up and give us the strength we need to face each day.

So let's choose to live with a cheerful heart and experience the healing power of God's love. ❤️

Hey there, lovelies! Today I want to talk about something that I believe affects many of us, especially women and girls. It's the "Good Girl Syndrome," and it refers to the tendency to be overly connected to outside people (parents, teachers, gurus, friends) but under-connected to ourselves.
What do I mean by that? Well, have you ever felt like you're constantly trying to please others or meet their expectations, even if it means sacrificing your own needs and desires? Do you find yourself seeking validation and approval from external sources, rather than trusting your own intuition and inner wisdom? If so, you may be suffering from the "Good Girl Syndrome."
Many of us are raised to believe that being a "good girl" means putting others first, being polite and accommodating, and avoiding conflict and criticism at all costs. While these traits can be admirable and helpful in some contexts, they can also lead to a sense of disconnection from our own feelings, values, and goals.
If you recognize yourself in this description, know that you're not alone and that there's nothing inherently wrong with wanting to be a good person.
Remember, you don't have to be a perfect or "good" girl to be worthy of love and respect. You are already enough, just as you are. Listen to your own voice, and trust that you have the power to create a life that reflects your true self.
If you are interested to work on your Good Girl Syndrome and learn how to reconnect with yourself, gain more self-awareness and cultivate self-compassion, feel free to reach out to me. Together, we can explore strategies and tools that will help you break free from the limiting patterns and beliefs that hold you back, and empower you to live a more fulfilling and authentic life. Remember, it's never too late to start prioritizing your own well-being and happiness. I'm here to support you on this journey! 💜

Alcoholism doesn't just affect the person drinking - it can have a devastating impact on their children.

When one parent is a highly functional alcoholic and the society accepts it, children can feel confused, isolated, and neglected.
They may have to assume adult responsibilities, experience emotional neglect or abuse, and have difficulty trusting others. And sadly, they may also be at a higher risk of developing addiction themselves.

But the good news is that we can break the cycle. We can create a society that supports families struggling with addiction, provides access to treatment, and raises awareness about the impact of alcoholism on children. We can show our children that there is hope, that healing is possible, and that they are not alone. Let's work together to create a world where all families can thrive, free from the grip of addiction. 💕

Aromatherapy is a powerful tool that can do just that.

Essential oils have been used for centuries to promote mental and emotional well-being. The scent of certain oils can trigger positive emotions, reduce feelings of stress and anxiety, and even promote restful sleep.

Lavender, for example, is well-known for its calming properties. It can help reduce feelings of anxiety and promote a sense of relaxation. Frankincense is another great oil for mental health, as it has grounding and centering properties that can help you feel more present and focused.

Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, or simply looking for ways to promote overall mental health, aromatherapy can be a powerful tool in your self-care toolkit. So take a deep breath, inhale the scent of your favorite essential oil, and let the calming properties of aromatherapy help you find peace and balance. ❤️🌿

I want to take a moment to talk about burnout and feeling overwhelmed. As women, we often take on so much and put pressure on ourselves to do it all, but sometimes it can feel like too much.

It's important to recognize that burnout is a real thing and that it's okay to ask for help when you need it. You don't have to do this alone. Whether it's asking a friend to lend an ear or seeking professional support, there are resources available to you.

Remember that you are not weak for feeling overwhelmed. It's a natural response to stress, and it's a sign that something needs to change. Taking care of yourself is not selfish, it's necessary.

So, if you're feeling burnt out and overwhelmed, please reach out for help. You are not alone, and there are people who care about you and want to support you.

Let's lift each other up and break the stigma around mental health. We're in this together.

Today, I want to talk about negative self-talk and how it can affect our wellbeing. We all have that little voice in our heads that tells us we're not good enough, smart enough, pretty enough, etc. It's so easy to fall into the trap of negative self-talk, but it can have serious consequences.

When we constantly put ourselves down, it can lead to feelings of low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. It can also affect our relationships with others, as we may become less confident and less able to connect with others.

So, what can we do to combat negative self-talk? First, we need to become aware of it. When that negative voice pops up, try to recognize it and challenge it. Ask yourself if what it's saying is really true, or if it's just a distorted thought.

Secondly, practice self-compassion. Treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding that you would offer to a friend. Remember that nobody is perfect, and it's okay to make mistakes and have flaws.

Finally, surround yourself with positive influences. Seek out friends, family, and mentors who uplift you and encourage you to be your best self.

Remember, you are worthy and deserving of love and respect. Don't let negative self-talk hold you back from living your best life.

Let's talk about confidence. So many women struggle with it, yet we rarely talk about it openly. Why is that? Why is it so shameful to admit that we don't always feel like we have it all together? The truth is, there are a lot of factors that can chip away at our confidence - societal pressures, unrealistic beauty standards, and the constant comparison game on social media, to name a few. But we don't have to suffer in silence. By sharing our struggles and supporting each other, we can break down the stigma and build each other up. So let's lift each other up, celebrate our unique strengths, and work together to build a more confident and empowered community of women! 💕✨
