Meet Paradigm Engineering.

Paradigm Hyperloop is one of the student teams working inside the Student Design Hub, focused on autonomous electric vehicles.

This past season, the team took part in the Autonomous Karting Series 2026 National Grand Prix and received the NGTS Best Undergraduate Poster Award.

Experiences like this give students the chance to apply what they learn through hands-on design, testing, teamwork, and competition.

Did you know this was built by students? โœˆ๏ธ

Phoenix Aerospace is one of the student teams working inside the Student Design Hub, taking aircraft concepts from design and CAD to physical prototypes and hands-on testing.

Projects like this give students the opportunity to turn ideas from the classroom into something they can actually build, test and improve.

๐Ÿš€ Horizon Aerospace is off to Launch Canada!

The student rocketry team is heading to Timmins, Ontario to participate in Launch Canada 2026, where post-secondary teams from across the country will put their high-powered rockets and engineering work to the test.

Horizon has spent months designing, building, manufacturing and preparing its rocket for this opportunity, and these photos give just a small glimpse into the work behind the project.

Weโ€™re wishing the entire team a safe trip and a great competition week!

Be sure to follow Horizon Aerospace and Launch Canada to keep up with their journey in Timmins.

Over the past few weeks, weโ€™ve had the pleasure of welcoming students from West Point Grey Academy in British Columbia, St. Edwardโ€™s School, and Mary Queen of Peace for tours of the Student Design Hub.

Itโ€™s always exciting to introduce younger students to the SDH and give them a look at the creativity, collaboration, and hands-on learning taking place in the space.

We hope these visits help spark their curiosity and inspire them to imagine what they might build, design, or create in the future.
