Blair Winsor and Jacqueline Bartlett (Faculty of Business Administration at Memorial University of Newfoundland), with Dr. Colin Mason (Emeritus Professor of Entrepreneurship, University of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School), recently published an article in The Conversation Canada about their Harris Centre Applied Research project, "Consilient Technologies and the NL Advanced Technoloy Sector: The Seeding of an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem."

After holding dozens of interviews with Consilient’s founders, former employees and investors, as well as industry experts, government officials and board members, the team came up with two key implications for government.

Starting in January, we'll be accepting submissions for this award specifically geared toward supporting the incredible work of undergraduate students at Memorial.

The Global Arctic Leadership Initiative (GALI) is now accepting applications for two funding opportunities!

Researchers with established Arctic partnerships can apply to the Northern Collaborative Research and Education Engagement Fund for up to $40,000.

Researchers looking to build or strengthen partnerships in the circumpolar region can apply to the Northern Relationship Development Fund for up to $15,000.

Applications for both funds are due by February 15, 2025.
