It's election time!
We know that this is a very different format than Chi Alpha elections are usually held in however, we are also in a very different situation right now.
We hope you are all doing well! To help with the ease of the election process, since people are spread out all over the province and possibly even further, we will have elections open until the end of the day on Friday April 3rd, 2020.
To vote in this election you must:
1. Be a part of Chi Alpha
2. Be a student currently enrolled at MUN
If both of these points apply to you please follow the link below to cast your vote.
Once the voting window has closed, the new executive will be announced.

Hi Friends!
With everything that is happening, based on available information and recommendations regarding the COVID-19 virus, there will be no XA this Friday. This is obviously not the way we were hoping to end the semester, but sometimes things are beyond our control. Through the uncertainty of the weeks to come, you will be in our thoughts and prayers. It's been a great year spent with all of you wonderful people. We wish you all the best.
Please stay tuned for an update about how we will proceed with the election for the upcoming year! We will still be holding the election, just in a different format than usual. Also a reminder for those participating in the vote, that you must be a current MUN student.

Hey Friends!
We hope you're having a great week!
This week we'll be continuing with our video series from Tim Keller's Reason for God, with the question, "What Gives You the Right to Tell Me How to Live My Life? Why Are There So Many Rules?" It's sure to be equally as thought provoking as the others we've explored this semester.
Afterwards we will be going bowling! So don't forget to bring some cash (card is okay too) for that!

Hi Friends!
For those of you who have signed up to volunteer with us this Friday, February 28th, tomorrow is the day! Meet at the UC (3rd floor) NO LATER THAN 6:30pm as we have to be there by 6:45pm.
Also just a reminder about the upcoming elections:
Nominations will be due on March 6th for election on March 20th. Membership forms will be made available. Please take the time to think about and pray about this.

Happy Friday!
There is no XA today because of reading week, but we hope that you've enjoyed the break!
In our last post we said that February 28th is going to be a special day and that we'll be going to the Ronald McDonald House as well as Cornerstone Ministry Center to show love to our community.
Since we're going to be leaving campus to be AT these locations before 7 we're asking you to be at the UC NO LATER THAN 6:30pm on Friday February 28th. If you have not done so already please message Emily ASAP to express where you would like to go, since the RMHC especially has a very limited number of volunteers. If you've already signed up, don't worry, just be ready!
We hope you're as excited as we are! 😊
One more announcement!
The semester is coming to a close, perhaps not as quickly as some would like, but it is coming. That means the conclusion of another year of XA is coming and so are elections for next year! Please take the time to think about this and pray about this to see the direction God is leading you in. Nominations will be due on March 6th for election on March 20th. There will be no XA this Friday because of the start of reading week. We hope you have a fun and relaxing break and we'll see you on February 28th!
February 28th is going to be a special day. February is considered the month of love because of Valentine's Day so we wanted to take some time to share some love with our community.
We'll be going to the Ronald McDonald House as well as Cornerstone Ministry Center, depending on numbers. As we can take only a limited number of people to each location please message Emily ASAP to express where you would like to go. If you've already signed up, don't worry, just be ready!
