Tonight's elves brought some finishing touches to our Gingerbread themed classroom thats started it all!!! Beautifully crafted by Janaya Dosanjh and adorns the entrance to the House area. Complimented with a lovely handmade lit fireplace...Gingerbread cookies and hot choclate all around!

As a Reggio inspired full day preschool program, we pride ourselves in offering beautifully curated classrooms aimed at providing rich learning experiences with loose parts, and wide range of quality materials indoors and out! Our learning spaces adapt and change to the children's interests through out the year aiming to provide warm, inviting spaces that feels like a second home.

Our passionate team of educators have been dedicated to implementing the BC Early learning framework while thinking with land based learning. Both becoming important aspects of our work with children in all our programs. Building meaningful relationships are important ingredients in our practice.

Has limited space MONDAYS and will open all available spaces for Pro d days, spring break and summer. Pre registration is required.

Early Childhood Educator (ECE)
Location: Squamish BC
Position: Full-Time Educator
Program: Reggio inspired infant toddler and Preschoolers age care.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our Reggio-inspired program. Our ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a genuine love for working with children, and the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

What We Offer:
Participation in the BC Wage Enhancement program
The starting wage is $24.00 for BCECE and $25.00 for IT/SN/Diplomia with an additional $6.00 per hour added for WIE.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children based on the Reggio-inspired curriculum.
Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
Provide care and supervision for children during daily routines and activities.
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to build a strong community.
Maintain accurate records of children’s progress, growth, and development.
Collaborate with fellow educators to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:
Valid Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification.
Criminal record check.
Valid First Aid certification.
Valid BC driver’s license (not required but ideal)
Experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting.
Knowledge of child development principles, best practices (including ELF, IELF), the Code of Ethics, and Licensing Regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.
