A huge thank-you to Brackendale parent Caroline Hyatt for volunteering to pick up our School Meal Program order downtown every Tuesday morning and deliver it to the school.

This is a generous weekly commitment that helps keep the program running smoothly for our students—and we’re so grateful for her support! ❤️

🏐 VOLUNTEER VOLLEYBALL COACH NEEDED!

Brackendale Elementary is looking for a volunteer to coach our co-ed Grade 5/6 volleyball team!

The program was a huge success last year. Unfortunately the previous coach is unavailable, so BRE is looking for someone new to keep the team going.

The season runs for approximately four weeks from mid-October to the end of November and includes:

• One or two practices per week during long recess
• Organizing drills and overseeing practices
• Approximately one game per week

Interested in helping our young athletes get on the court? Please reach out to the school for more information!

🏫 BRACKENDALE ELEMENTARY OPEN HOUSE

Brackendale Elementary’s Open House is happening Tuesday, September 22, from 5:00–6:30 p.m.

Stop by for this informal event to meet your child’s teacher, explore the school and connect with other Brackendale families.

📚Come join us Tuesday, September 15 at 6:30 PM in the library for the first PAC meeting of the year!

Learn more about what PAC has planned for the 2026/27 school year, including upcoming events and activities, volunteer opportunities, and ways to get involved in our school community.

And, come share your ideas! We’d love to hear what you’d like to see happen at Brackendale this year. 💡

🚸 FREE CHILDCARE will be provided in the gym, so bring the kids!

Everyone is welcome — you don’t need to be a regular PAC volunteer to attend. ❤️

We hope everyone is enjoying their final long weekend of the summer because Brackendale Elementary is back to school this Tuesday at 8:45am — for a whole hour! 😅

PAC will be set up with a welcome table, coffee + Timbits (they go fast!). ☕️🍩

Stop by, say hi, find out what we’ve got planned for the year, and add your name to our volunteer email list if you’d like to get involved.

Have an idea for something that could enrich our school community? PAC would love to hear it!

Have a great rest of the weekend, and wishing everyone a smooth Tuesday morning!

👉 Reminder: Wednesday, Sept 9 is an early dismissal at noon
