🌟 As another school year comes to a close, the Brackendale PAC would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to our incredible school community. 🌟

Last week, our PAC gathered at the Watershed Grill for a year-end wrap-up to celebrate our successes, reflect on the year, and start planning for next year.

Whether you volunteered at an event, donated items, supported a fundraiser, attended a meeting, or helped in any other way, your support helped make this year a success.

🎉This year, PAC support helped make possible:

🍎 Community-building events like the Pancake Breakfast, Holiday Shop, Movie Night, Art Show, and Spring Dance

🌱 School enhancement projects, including our community gardens and outdoor learning spaces

🎨 Classroom resources and enrichment opportunities for students

🏓 Extracurricular experiences like aikido and pickleball

💰 Fundraisers such as Growing Smiles, Purdys, Neufeld Farms, and Art Cards

✨ Countless extras that help make Brackendale Elementary a fun and connected school community

As we look ahead to next year, we’d love to welcome some new faces to the PAC. Whether you can help once or often, every contribution makes a difference.

💦 Reminder: Tomorrow is Slip & Slide Day! 💦

🌱🍎 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐘𝐨𝐮, Woodfibre LNG! 🍎🌱

Thanks to a 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐟𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭, the Brackendale Elementary PAC was able to build and plant several new garden boxes for our school community.

These gardens help foster a love of gardening while giving students the opportunity to learn where food comes from and how we can grow some of our own. 🌿🥕🍓

A very special thank you to 𝐌𝐬. 𝐓𝐢𝐧𝐚 and 𝐌𝐬. 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐚, who put in countless hours shoveling dirt, building and planting the garden beds, and who will continue caring for the gardens throughout the summer so our students can return in September to thriving, productive spaces.

Projects like this are only possible through the support of community partners and dedicated volunteers. We are incredibly grateful to 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐟𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐍𝐆 for investing in hands-on learning opportunities for our students and helping make our school grounds even more beautiful and engaging.

A huge thank you to Stephen Fryer and ServiceMaster Clean & Restore Sea to Sky for treating every student to a fantastic Sports Day lunch last week! 🌭🏃‍♂️🏃🏾‍♀️

Thanks to their generosity, students enjoyed a hot dog, a bag of chips, and a freezie while taking a break from a fun-filled day of activities and friendly competition.

Stephen has been making this special lunch happen year after year, and we are incredibly grateful for his support of our school community.

The PAC was proud to host our annual Teacher & Staff Appreciation Lunch today as a small way to say thank you to the incredible staff who make Brackendale Elementary such a wonderful place to learn and grow.

Our teachers and support staff do so much for our students every day, and we are grateful for the care, dedication, patience, and enthusiasm they bring to our school community.

Staff enjoyed a delicious lunch from 𝐒𝐚𝐡𝐚 𝐄𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲, along with treats and plants generously put together by parents — a special thank you to 𝐉𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 and 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚 for providing those, and to 𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 for organizing this event. 💚🌱

What a fantastic evening! Thank you to everyone who came out on Friday night and helped make the Neon Spring Dance such a success.
