About Me:
I grew up in Ontario, and sport has been an integral part of my life from an early age. Health and fitness were strongly modelled to me by my father, a Cardiologist, and my grandparents, also doctors, fitness and dessert fiends. I excelled at ski racing, and running cross country, and track, and I went on to coach ski racing. My mother battled breast cancer as I was growing up, and I struggled with, and overcame an eating disorder in my teens. I believe that our wounds are our wisdom, and these two experiences helped shape health as my greatest value. At a young age, I learned that 🎙️ life is precious, tomorrow is promised to no one, and health is our greatest asset. I believe health is the platform from which everything else stems, and determines how we show up in life. I have a daughter and son (2 C sections), and enjoy skiing, mountain and road biking, hiking, and being part of this incredible community! I offer personal training out of Mountain Fitness Centre, and alternatively out of my newly renovated garage gym. If you’re yearning to elevate your energy and confidence, we might be a fit!

You might be getting less protein than you think, even if you’re trying to eat enough of it.
Collagen? Incomplete. Doesn’t trigger muscle protein synthesis.
Plant protein? Often below the threshold your muscles actually need.
Beef protein? Solid, if you’re buying the right kind.
The type of protein you eat matters just as much as how much you eat.
I broke it all down on the blog: covering collagen, plant protein, beef protein, whey isolate, and why leucine is the real key to building muscle.
