Canada Kiteboarding Lessons

Squamish Watersports is looking for Kiteboarding and watersports instructors to join our crew! Spring 2023 is coming up quick and we are expecting another season busy as ever. With our exclusive waterfront property, we are the only full watersports center around. We have many positions available for all skill and experience levels!
Available positions are: deckhand, receptionist, administrator and instructor. With 32-40+ hour work weeks and staff housing available, you can come down to Squamish for a work vacation or (as some of our veteran staff do already) come down to work hard while the work is there and take it easy or travel in the winter.
Squamish, BC has some of the best wind in North America and is known as the outdoor capital of Canada! With nearly every single day windy from April/May to October, there is ample work and ample fun to be had. With most thermal wind conditions, you can expect steady 20-25 knot winds daily from 9-10am to 7-9pm daily. When the thermals don’t come around, there is usually some sort of wind in the area that is accessible with our boats and large array of kites at your disposal.
A bit about us: Squamish Watersports has been running a kiteboarding school and watersports center for 10 years here in Squamish and 12 years overall. With a large number of staff returning every year, our team is very family/friends oriented. We offer training of all sorts to a very high caliber and endless support throughout the season. All lessons are taught off 15-17 ft inflatable boats to help ensure effective and fast track progression with our clients. With a staff of 12-15 and 12 teaching vessels we are by far, the largest school in the area and the only school in Squamish and the entire Sea to Sky Area. We also offer many non-wind related activities such as boat tours and shuttles, paddle lessons and tours as well as boat and Jet ski rentals. This helps keep staff busy throughout the day. With a strong and supportive admin staff, your teaching hours are also utilized to the fullest with our full admin team greeting and suiting clients prior to your return of your last lesson. This allows (for instructors) to jump from 1 lesson to the next utilizing your time and the wind hours of each day.

Boat assisted down winders happening this weekend leaving at 8 am from down town shop Location. $60 per person includes instructor assisted off shore launch, supervision and pick up. Multiple boats headed out to kite from Squamish too Lions Bay or as long as the winds allows.. call 778-989-5483 or message to reserve your spot.
