🍂 Fall Registration Is Now Open at Dr. Panda Academy!
Our fall classes begin on September 9 and are designed for students in Grades 2–6.
Classes time: Mondays and Wednesdays
3:30–4:30 pm — Math Enrichment
Students will develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills through fun, challenging questions similar to those found in the Math Kangaroo competition.
4:45–5:45 pm — Robotics
Students will learn to build, code, and complete hands-on robotics challenges while developing creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Classes are taught in small groups, and spaces are limited. Please send me a private message or email [email protected] for more information or to reserve a spot for your child.

Another exciting robotics project 🚀

One of the coolest parts of this activity is that students didn’t just build the robot — they also designed and created the blue challenge field themselves.

From planning the layout to testing how the robot moves through the course, students were encouraged to think creatively, solve problems, and improve their designs through trial and error.

This kind of hands-on robotics activity helps children develop:
✅ Engineering and design thinking
✅ Coding and mechanical understanding
✅ Creativity and teamwork
✅ Patience and problem-solving skills

We want students to go beyond simply “following instructions.”
They learn how machines work, how systems interact, and how to turn their own ideas into real projects.

🤖 Sneak Peek of Our Upcoming Robotics Project!
Our teacher will guide students step by step to build and program interactive robots using motors, sensors, gears, and coding. Students will explore how mechanical structures and programming work together to make robots move, react, and complete challenges.
Through projects like this, students develop:

Today, the kids built this cool race car and dived into the fascinating world of gear combinations. They learned how different gears interact and power the car, laying down a solid foundation for their future independent builds.
​It’s getting more complex, but seeing them trace the mechanical logic is so rewarding. Future engineers in the making! 🛠️💡

Dr. Panda Academy is planning to offer a small-group Math Enrichment class this summer for students in Grades 3–6 in Squamish.
This class is designed for students who enjoy math and are ready for more challenging problem-solving beyond regular school math.
Students will work on:
✅ Math Kangaroo-style problem-solving questions
✅ Logic and reasoning
✅ Pattern recognition
✅ Multi-step word problems
✅ Creative strategies for solving non-routine math questions
This is not a regular tutoring class. The goal is to help students build stronger mathematical thinking, confidence, and problem-solving skills.
We are currently collecting interest and preferred time slots before finalizing the schedule.

Does your child enjoy math puzzles, patterns, or challenging problems?
Dr. Panda Academy is exploring new Math Enrichment Classes for students in Grades 3–9 who would like more challenge beyond regular school math.
The class will focus on building strong mathematical thinking through:
✅ Logical thinking
✅ Problem-solving strategies
✅ Challenging word problems
✅ Number sense and patterns
✅ Math contest-style questions
Students may also have the opportunity to prepare for the Math Kangaroo Contest next March.

​By connecting large wheels to smaller ones, the system "gears up," turning a slow motor into a high-speed spin by the third axle. It’s hands-on physics in action! ✨
