Another exciting robotics project 🚀

One of the coolest parts of this activity is that students didn’t just build the robot — they also designed and created the blue challenge field themselves.

From planning the layout to testing how the robot moves through the course, students were encouraged to think creatively, solve problems, and improve their designs through trial and error.

This kind of hands-on robotics activity helps children develop:
✅ Engineering and design thinking
✅ Coding and mechanical understanding
✅ Creativity and teamwork
✅ Patience and problem-solving skills

We want students to go beyond simply “following instructions.”
They learn how machines work, how systems interact, and how to turn their own ideas into real projects.

🤖 Sneak Peek of Our Upcoming Robotics Project!
Our teacher will guide students step by step to build and program interactive robots using motors, sensors, gears, and coding. Students will explore how mechanical structures and programming work together to make robots move, react, and complete challenges.
Through projects like this, students develop:

Today, the kids built this cool race car and dived into the fascinating world of gear combinations. They learned how different gears interact and power the car, laying down a solid foundation for their future independent builds.

Check out this custom-built LEGO pulley system our teacher created! It’s a brilliant way to show the "magic" of speed multiplication.
​By connecting large wheels to smaller ones, the system "gears up," turning a slow motor into a high-speed spin by the third axle. It’s hands-on physics in action! ✨
​We love seeing innovative teaching methods that turn complex concepts into something students can see, touch, and get excited about. Who knew math and mechanics could be this much fun?

Kids have been experimenting with movement and gear ratios today. One robot decided to take a detour toward the chair, but that’s all part of the learning process and the fun!
