Working in different voices and un-voiced A and E sounds - phonograms are fun!! At Squamish tutoring, I aim to make learning fun and game based for your child.

Working on rhyming to increase reading fluency and phonemic awareness ! Rhyming helps emergent readers learn how language works and helps them to recognize patterns in language
Reading a rhyming book together and identifying the rhyming words, and then building on them, is a great (fun) activity.

Offering tutoring in the Squamish area, I am a BC Certified Teacher.
I am excited to offer 1-on-1 tutoring tailored to your learner and their unique educational needs. I believe in hands-on learning, and that learning should be fun and rewarding for students, and make every effort to do so. I assess where your child is at in the subject area(s) which we will work on together, so that I am meeting your learner's needs. I support student's success through games, activities, and help with school work as well as offering summer boost tutoring.
