A massive thank you to Sebastian, Jacob S., Jacob C., and Aaron!
These fantastic grade 7 leaders worked incredibly hard to organize a baseball club for our Grade 5 and 6 students here at Woodhaven. Thanks to their dedication, our students had an amazing opportunity to learn the basics of the game, get active, and have fun with one another!
We also want to extend a huge thank you to the Blue Jays Care organization! They generously sponsored our club, providing awesome T-shirts, hats, and a ton of baseball equipment to make this all possible.
Thank you all for bringing so much energy and teamwork to Woodhaven!

๐๐Special Parking Notice for Grade 9 Farewell Tomorrow (Please Read Carefully)๐๐
This year, we are celebrating our largest Grade 9 farewell class in school history! Because of this, our parking lot will be extremely busy.
Please do NOT park in the staff parking lot or the designated bus lanes - there is signage that clearly marks these locations.
Alternative Parking: We highly recommend utilizing street parking in the surrounding local neighborhoods or using the parking lot at the nearby spray park.
Post-Ceremony Timeline: While we absolutely welcome you to stick around, mingle, and enjoy refreshments after the ceremony, we kindly ask that all vehicles clear out of the school parking lot by 2:30 PM. This is critical to make way for our afternoon buses and regular end-of-the-day dismissal routines.
Thank you so much for your cooperation, patience, and support in making this a memorable milestone for our students. We look forward to celebrating with you tomorrow!

Huge shoutout to two of our amazing Grade 7 students, Brooklyn and Simon!
These two rockstars organized a candy fundraiser and a sticker sale this year, raising an incredible $225 for Our House to help support some folks in our community who need to extra help.
We are so proud of your hard work, leadership, and kindness, Brooklyn and Simon. Thank you for making a real difference and for helping Woodhaven shine!

If youโve walked down our hallways lately, you've probably seen our Parkland Christian Program bulletin board growing piece by piece! ๐ธ
All year long, weโve looked at our theme, "Praise the Lord." We loved filling the board with images of our students living this out as God Worshippers, Beauty Creators, and Servant Workers. We are so proud of them and want to celebrate all weโve been able to do together this year! ๐
"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." โ Matthew 5:16

Last Friday marked our final chapel of the year at Parkland Christian Program, and it was a truly special time of worship, remembering, and coming together as a community. Together, we said our goodbyes to the grade 4s from Brookwood and welcomed those Grade 4 students to Woodhaven. We also spent meaningful time praying over our school program and our Grade 9s as they take their next big step into high school. We are sending all of our students off with prayers for blessings and growth in their next chapters.

A huge thank you to the Rotary Club of Spruce Grove for making lunches for students that require one for another school year. We are beyond appreciative for the hard work you put into supplying our school with lunches each year.
Please note that our last delivery is this Wednesday, June 10th. Please ensure that your child/ren have a lunch packed until the end of the year.
We are still able to offer healthy snacks, thank you to our PC Charity Grant, as well as grab and go breakfasts, thanks to our wonderful parent volunteers that come in the mornings to ensure our students start the day fed!
