🌈 We’re Hiring: Playschool Teacher at Rainbow Playschool!

Are you passionate about early childhood education? Do you love creating a joyful, nurturing environment where young minds can flourish? Rainbow Playschool is looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and creative Playschool Teacher to join our team!

📍 Location: Rainbow Playschool at Graminia Hall

👩‍🏫 Position: 2-4 days a week – depending on enrollment. Classes are Tues/Thurs 9:00am-11:30am with the potential of having a Mon/Wed class. The teacher is required to be there for class preparation at 8:00am and extra set-up when needed.

🌟 About Us: Rainbow Playschool is a vibrant, child-centered learning space where every child is encouraged to grow through play, imagination, and exploration. Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that nurtures the curiosity and development of each child.

✏️ Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate, play-based activities (3 & 4 year olds)
• Foster a caring, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
• Observe and document children’s progress and communicate with parents
• Develop strategies to guide positive behaviour
• Demonstrate a structured learning environment that meets the needs of the children (i.e. story time, learning centers, snack time, etc.)
• Provide a hands-on environment that offers both children initiated and teacher directed experiences.
• Communicate via email/whatsapp chat on upcoming activities or events
• Must attend all Graminia Hall committee meetings and sector meetings
• Teacher is to be present at registration and open houses

✅ Qualifications:
• Degree/Diploma/Certification in Early Childhood Education (Level 2) or Child Development Supervisor (Level 3 - Preferred)
• Prior experience working with young children (ages 3-5 preferred) in a school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children
• Valid Class 5 Licence
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector and Intervention Record Check
• First Aid/CPR with child care certification
