Red Spruce Hollow Equestrian Ltd.

Red Spruce Hollow Equestrian Ltd. 6.5 acres of heaven in Parkland County, where we raise and love our dogs, horses, and family. The word “red” also holds a deeper meaning for myself personally.

People sometimes ask me, “why the name Red Spruce Hollow?”

Born and raised in Nova Scotia, the Red Spruce is actually the provincial tree of Nova Scotia. My grandfather was born on a very small island in Newfoundland called Red Island. He grew up with a few families in very harsh conditions. He instilled in myself, and all of his grandchildren to get an education and never give up on your dreams. After moving to Alberta and purchasing this acreage, I wanted to tie a piece of home, to a new life I was creating. In the center of these 17 acres, lies a perfect clearing, completely surrounded by trees. I named the section of the property “The Hollow.”

So here, the name was formed. Bringing the east coast to the west, and merging two places together that I now consider home. With this, Red Spruce Hollow Equestrian was born.

Finished off the 2026 show season at Amberlea Harvest Horse Show (I think the 4 consecutive days at the show were nicer than our entire summer 🤣😵‍💫)

Was my first show this year being strong enough and out there jumping again and G didn’t miss a beat! A few faults over the weekend but we snuck a clear round in there too! I couldn’t be happier with him (or me). Of course always lots to improve on - but it really felt good to be out there again.

Thankyou to all my supporters, for Kennedy coaching, and for Janessa and friends on the side cheering us on and snapping some great pics and video! Appreciate you all!
