That quote couldn’t be more true for us.

Getting away isn’t always easy. Running a small business means there’s always work waiting, and with our son’s health challenges, anything more than a short distance away and for more than a few days just isn’t in the cards right now. So we are learning and being reminded again make the most of the little things. (We used to spend our vacation in our favourite place - a family tradition for more than 60 years).

This lake was recommended to us by one of our amazing customers, and it turned out to be exactly what we needed. Just a couple of days, not too far away, to unplug, breathe, sit on the beach, fish, make memories, and enjoy being together.

It reminded us that you don’t have to travel far to find something special. Sometimes the best adventures are the ones close to home, with the people who matter most.

Monday means it’s time to get after it.

Helmets down, hood flipped, and the shop is already heating up. With another hot week ahead, we’re putting in the work—fabricating, welding, and getting caught up on orders while restocking our fire pits.
