Bear Family Children's center at an in house workshop:)
A warm and friendly center that offers caring and supportive childcare for your
children while you are working. Fun Summer program for school children.
Centrally located in Spruce Grove, across the road from Brookwood school,
Woodhaven school and surrounded by parks and walking trails. Rates are more than competative, so we are afraid spaces are limited.

More fun activities based on children's interests as well as some invitations for them to come and explore. The children love sensory exploration these activities have so many different ranges of development for the children to gain. Fine motor development which will help with holding a pencil in school, emotional development to help them regulate or feel good and confident about what they create, social development when the create with or beside peers they can also gain problem solving skills and so much more!😊

One thing I love in the early childhood education field is learning through play and setting up provocations or invitations for children to explore. By setting up a simple block and car invitation children came into the center observed it and began changing it to meet their needs the evolution of one simple set up amazes me every time! This set up went through 7 different children with their very own ideas😊

We have had a very fun filled week this week! So many learning opportunities while exploring different materials. While exploring the children gain development in many different domains, Lego provides fine motor development as well as problem solving skills among a few other things, ice is science, pumpkins were very interesting the children were able to explore them and direct them and than turn it into pumpkin slime with corn starch and water so much happening here, science, social development, cognitive development, emotional development and so much more. They were also able to create with puffy paint, create and explore with leaves so many opportunities this week I wonder what they will do next? :)
