A bit about me!! Operating for 12 yrs and still going strong! A Mother of two children with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology specializing in Child Development. Located in the Lakewood area of Spruce Grove. Current criminal record check! My dayhome caters to those families needing flexible scheduling ie- teachers, nurses, etc...
Perfect for ages 2 and up! Day rates, monthly rates, before and/or after school care. Bus stop conveniently located a few doors down on a main street. My basic premise is to create a warm and safe environment where every child's INDIVIDUAL needs are met. My focus is to ensure every child feels safe, loved, healthy and happy. My wish is that the kids go home and tell silly stories about their day with their friends much like we as adults would talk about our work day! I look forward to looking after your children and playing a role in their young lives! Policies:

Sick Policy:

Runny noses- ok
Persistent cough- ok
Congestion- ok. Low grade fevers in children of teething age- ok. Fevers that are high and accompanied with other symptoms that indicate bacterial infection- stay home until on antibiotics/and or feeling better. Vomiting/Diarhea-stay home for 48 hours after flu has subsided to prevent spread. Pink eye- stay home for 48 hours to prevent spread. Lice- stay home until both first and second treatments are complete. HFM- stay home until sores have become scabs. Potty Training Policy-

Pull-ups are a great way to start the transition from diapers. However if you've potty trained over the summer, or another lengthy period of time and you're confident said child has it mastered feel free to send him/her in un**es. If there is a pattern of regression, or an inability to continue effectively at dayhome I will send all kids home in a pullup that day and we can try again. If the pattern repeats for multiple days and is not related to an infection or UTI all children will need to be in pull-ups for their time at dayhome until the skill is fully mastered. Payment Policy

All payments are due on the 1st of the month for scheduled days before childcare begins. No refunds for cancelled days. Receipts are provided at tax time. A 100.00 deposit is required no later than 72 hours after meet/greet to hold spots and will go to your first month's childcare fee. Deposits are non refundable.

Funny how life works sometimes.

Miss Jaime originally studied Psychology at the University of Saskatchewan, focusing on child development. Like many of us, she had one career path in mind.

But life had other plans.

Fourteen years later, she's still doing what brings her joy: creating a warm, welcoming space where little ones can play, learn, grow, and simply be kids.
