Registration paperwork will be available for pickup from August 19–25. When you pick up your paperwork, you can also schedule your registration appointment for August 26th.

📋 Completed registration paperwork
🏠 A piece of mail or legal document verifying your address is within our school catchment area
📜 Birth certificate — required if you have not previously been enrolled in Nova Scotia

🔄 Requesting a transfer?

If you are requesting a transfer to SHS but haven’t yet moved into the school area, you must complete the transfer request through your currently enrolled school. Transfer forms can be picked up at their office.

🧭 Grade 7 Students

Would you like a follow-up tour with our Guidance Counsellor? Stop in and book a time for August 25th!

For those parents/guardians wondering what school supplies to have for September, our recommendation is general school materials including:

- book bag
- binder(s)
- looseleaf
- pencils
- pen
- erasers
- scientific calculator (Casio, Texas, Staples brands)
- pencil crayons or markers
- reusable water bottle
- grade 7 (student scissors, glue sticks)
- Phys Ed clothing and indoor shoes

Lockers will be available for rental (rental agreement signed and $15) starting week 2 of school.

There is NO general student fee or grad fee.

Note to Grad Families: We would like to make you aware of an error regarding the transcripts that were included in graduates' envelopes at the Graduation Ceremony.

Unfortunately, the transcripts that were distributed were not the most current versions. We apologize for this oversight and any confusion it may cause.

Updated official transcripts will be mailed to each graduate's home address as soon as possible. Please discard the transcript that was included in the graduation envelope and use the updated copy once it arrives.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience as we correct this mistake.
