IRA presents our first 🎨 ART SHOW! 🖼️

Thursday, June 5th from 11am - 2pm!

Open to the public! We welcome our communities, parents, family members and art enthusiasts to our school to see the fantastic work of our budding artists.

What to expect:
At the show, you will be ✨WOWED ✨ by the art on display at the gallery!

There will be work to bid on in a silent auction and a small store to shop and purchase some creative items!

You won’t want to miss this!!!

Entry by donation - each $5 donation will get yourself entered to win a fantastic basket of items from local artisans.

All proceeds will go to our school art program!

With the theme of "Planting Positivity" for this year's Education week, Indian River Academy will be doing TWO initiatives to donate to the Ronald McDonald House to show kindness to others in need.

♥️ First - We will be collecting can pull tabs. We are going to make it a friendly competition and each class will receive a jar that they will aim to fill by next Thursday. Which pull tabs? We will happily accept donations of aluminum tabs from beverage cans, fish and meat tins, soups, and cat and dog food tins.

💛 Second - We will be asking families to choose one item (or more!) from the list below to donate. Here are items that are listed on the RMH's wishlist that they are currently needing.
The list includes:
Quilts – Lap Size,
Toothbrushes
Toothpaste
Shampoo
Conditioner
Shower gel
Bar soap
Books for all ages – Newborn – teen
Travel size hand Sanitizer
Travel Activity Kits
Puzzle books
Travel games
Small toys for all ages.

💚 All donations can be brought to the school and we will be collecting until Thursday, March 21!

For Education week, we will be collecting Can Tabs to donate to the Ronald MacDonald house on behalf of our students and staff!

Families can collect them over the next 2 weeks and then bring them to donate. Which pull tabs?
We will be happy to accept donations of aluminum tabs from beverage cans, fish and meat tins, soups, and cat and dog food tins.

We will be collecting tabs UNTIL Thursday, March 21!

We will also be collecting items that they need to donate - we will create a list and let families know. We look forward to your support in helping our children to “Plant Positivity” by donating to this very worthy cause! ❤️🌿

Tomorrow is our FINAL full day!
🟢 Students get to visit for the final time with their classes!
🟠 We are open from 3-4pm and again from 6-8pm!
🔴 Students who purchase during the school day get their name in for a book of their choosing and if you visit in the family times, you can be entered to win $25 for yourself and $25 for your classroom!

We are JUST OVER HALFWAY to our goal! And if we meet it, Mrs. Shave is getting covered in silly string… Happy Shopping!
