A little reminder: please label your student’s belongings! It makes it so much easier for lost items to find their way back home.

Another school year has come to an end, and what an incredible year it has been at GC!

We’ve celebrated so many memorable moments together—from competitions, sporting victories, plays, concerts, and provincial championships to Pow Wow, guest speakers, magic shows, play days, field trip adventures, the Fish Fry, a new playground, a beautiful art mural, and outstanding academic achievements.

This year, we welcomed new staff members and said goodbye to a few, with hopeful anticipation that our paths will cross again in the future.

Thank you to our families, community members, and parents for your unwavering support through both the exciting moments and the challenges. Your partnership helps make GC such a special place.

To our Grade 8 students: thank you for your leadership, your contributions, and for being such an important part of our Hawk Family. We are proud of all you have accomplished and wish you every success as you begin the next chapter of your journey.

We will miss you all this summer, but we look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Nest in September.

We have a few ice cream cups left. Coffee cart will come around in the morning to sell. They are $1.00. Only while quantities last, so you are not guaranteed to get one. But! It’s the last day of school! So still super exciting.

Summer break is a few days away ☀️ just a quick recap of some of the great things SCC achieved this year. Thank you to the other community members and organizations that helped us achieve some of these events.
Thank you to Kirsten for her role as co-chair for the SCC the last 2 years. 👏🏻 She is leaving her position as she’ll have no students left at GC.

Mino-Bimaadiziwin — walking and living together in a good way. This mural reminds us of the importance of respect, kindness, connection to the land and bridge that connects communities like Saugeen and Southampton.

A huge thank you to our amazingly talented students River Boldt, Gavin Landry, Alison Thede along with Mr. Jones for their creativity, dedication, and hard work in bringing our beautiful new school mural to life!

We are so proud of this lasting legacy that will inspire our school community for years to come.
