Hey Spartans,

Tonight you may be hearing about Spartan Shields, or seeing yellow tickets coming home. Great news! That means you get to help our K-6 students show and celebrate their Spartan Pride every day!

Through our schools Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports work we’re focusing on three goals across all school spaces:
👉 Be Kind & Respectful
👉 Be Responsible
👉 Be a Team Player

Keep an eye out for Spartan Shields coming home that students are earning and help us to keep celebrating our awesome Spartans!

Now enjoy some not so great, and then great examples with tips of what we want to see in all areas of our school!

The staff and students of SRS would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our incredible Custodians, and Cleaners.
Our staff play an essential role in ensuring that our school remains clean, safe, and welcoming for students, staff, and the public.

We currently have students looking for more chocolate bars to sell, but we’ve officially run out of extras!

If your family has unsold chocolate bars that you don’t intend to sell, please return them to your child’s homeroom teacher as soon as possible so we can redistribute them to students who are ready and waiting to keep selling.

If you’re still working on selling your bars, keep at it! This is just for anyone who knows they won’t be able to sell the remaining bars they have.

A quick reminder that all fundraiser money is due October 2.

Thank you to all of our students and families for the hard work so far, and the community for purchasing from our little sellers.

We really appreciate your support!

As a reminder, the money raised from this fundraiser goes towards teacher requests for the remainder of 2026; including purchases ranging from Lego tables to field trips to sunscreen to guest speakers and much more!

245 new books ready to go on the shelves on Monday. Thank you to Scholastic Book Fairs, a prize gift certificate from The Bookmark in Charlottetown and a few donations. It’s always an exciting day when new books are available to borrow.
